A few of the plates that keep Glastonbury families coming back: pasta pulled to order, sauce from the same pot for forty years, and wood-fired specials that only exist this season.
Glastonbury Table opened its doors in 1986 with twelve stools, a chalkboard menu, and the Marchetti family's Sunday gravy recipe — the one Nonna Maria brought over from Calabria in 1958. Four decades later, that recipe is still on the stove every Monday morning, made the same way, in the same pot.
Marco and Elena Marchetti run the dining room together. Their son Luca makes the pasta in the open kitchen — every sheet of lasagna, every ball of arancini, every plate of pappardelle. Most of our staff have been here ten years or longer, and a few have been here since the very first night.
We don't franchise. We don't ship. We don't carry the same menu you can find in any mall food court. The specials change every Friday, the sauce recipe is proprietary, and the wood-fired oven was rebuilt in 2019 by hand. We're a small-town restaurant that happens to be in a small town.

Open Tuesday through Sunday. Closed Mondays so our staff can spend time with their own families.
